Hi! I am an international Master's student from Turkey and I have 5 years of experience in cat-sitting. I grew up taking care of our family cat and later continued living in homes where cats were always part of my daily life, so being around them feels completely natural to me. Also, I genuinely love cats, and being here in Belgium with little to no cat exposure makes me long for being around them :) Although cats are my specialty, I also have experience helping out with dogs (I might not be able to walk the bigger ones though :) I have started to cat-sit professionally in 2022 in Istanbul. Over the years, I’ve cared for so many cats with different personalities and temperaments, so I learned to take the time to understand each cat’s routine and character, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and respected in their own space. I am careful when it comes to following feeding routines, maintaining litter hygiene, and providing companionship through play or calm presence, depending on what the cat prefers. I also have experience administering medication when needed and always make sure to discuss any specific needs or instructions with owners beforehand. Clear and open communication is very important to me, and I always send you photos and videos (usually both in every visit) to provide updates so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind. If you’re looking for someone in Gent who will care for your pet as thoughtfully as you would, I’d be happy to help.
