Hello! 

I am Mel, a 26 year old person from Greece living near the center of Enschede, about to start a Psychology Master in UT this September. With a background in mental health, I’ve always been fascinated by the special bond between humans and animals. I believe our coexistence brings out the best in both sides, offering comfort, joy, and a sense of fulfillment.

I grew up around animals and have hands-on experience caring for dogs within my own family. My mother and sister both have rescue dogs, so I know firsthand the patience, understanding and consistency needed to help animals feel safe and happy. In addition, my mother’s dog lives with a chronic illness, which has given me valuable experience in caring for pets who require extra support, medication and gentle handling.
