Hi, my name is Lucie, and I am current master student at KU Leuven. I come from a large dog-loving family and have grown up around dogs (of all sizes). I am currently the proud owner of my own dog, a 2-year old rescue. She is a very sensitive and easily frightened dog, so I have experience on handling such dogs. Additionally, I have volunteered at multiple animal shelters over the years and dog-sat for close friends.
What can you expect from me?
I am hoping to start dog walking in order to increase my time spent outdoors, which brightens your dogs day and mine. I am a firm believer in dog-led walks, as this is their time to sniff and explore their surroundings, therefore discovering new places around Leuven. I adapt to the needs of your dog during our time spent together, for example if they need to play or go for a run.
I can offer my services for max. 2 dogs at a time (from the same household).
For walks: I am usually available in the mornings and afternoons, as well as evenings (for regular walks: schedule to be agreed upon in advance). I usually go on 1 hour walks. Depending on where you live in Leuven, I like walking around the abbey or the greenery in Heverlee or Kessel-lo.
For home visits: I have flexible hours, therefore we can agree in advance how much time I should spend with your dog(s). During this time I am free to play, feed and/or walk, whatever tasks we agree to beforehand. Obviously during the time, I can take care of light housework (ex. take in the mail, water the plants).
For dog sitting: I am available most weekends (to be discussed when agreeing upon dates). Your dog(s) will not be left alone for max. 4 hours at a time.&nbsp;

Cela fait maintenant 11 ans que mon chien est à mes côtés. J'ai pu avoir la chance de réaliser diverses activités avec lui telles que du dressage, de l'agility, du cross running, dog survival bien sur des heures de balades et bien d'autre encore...

Hi, I'm Ngakan from Bali, Indonesia. I am 37 years old and live in Oud-Heverlee since 2015 together with my partner. I speak English fluently and I feel comfortable speaking Dutch as well. I always owned dogs back in Indonesia and in 2021, we welcomed our lovely Dalmatian, Luka, into our family.&nbsp;
I love taking him for walks in the nearby forest and I always enjoy playing with him. He's very energetic and loves to cuddle and this is why we are a perfect match.&nbsp;

ERVAREN KAT en KONIJNSITTER REGIO LEUVEN.Ik heb al jarenlang ervaring met katten en ook verschillende jaren met konijnen.Omdat ik dol ben op dieren, jarenlange kattenervaring heb, regelmatig op de kat van de buren heb gepast en graag meehelp voor een onbezorgde tijd van de eigenaar/eigenares, heb ik besloten me in te schrijven. En omdat we verschillende jaren een huiskonijntje hadden, ook voor konijnen.Eigenaar van de kattinnen Mops en Dina. Ik bied aan wat ik onze katten aanbied: een luisterend oor, aaitjes, fris water, regelmatig eten, communicatie op kattenniveau. ..... Opgekuiste en regelmatig ververste kattenbak, speeltijd en vooral geduld.Daarnaast laat ik hen rusten wanneer ze dromen en kijk ik naar signalen hoe ze zich voelen bv minder eten, wegkruipen, lusteloos. Of juist energiek en gereed om kopjes te geven.Cat's language lezen! Oren plat of rechtop, staart in lucht of net plat, afstand houden, ... Kleine signalen waarmee dieren aangeven hoe ze zich voelen. Ik praat ook veel met onze katten tot wanhoop van onze twee kinderen (en mijn man). Wederzijdse communicatie noem ik dat.Mijn leven is pas compleet met mijn dieren. Ze geven me vriendschap en liefde zonder voorwaarden. Alhoewel ik vermoed dat die lekkere kattenbrokjes en dat fris water en dat zachte dekentje meehelpen.Als dierenvriend heb ik ook regelmatig meegewerkt met lokale kattenopvang voor inzameling van eten, verkoopstandjes en zelfs een lokale vangactie met sterilisatie, plaatsing bij kattenopvang en heruitzetting.Ik kan ook tijdens de oppas post uithalen en planten water geven.
