Hi! I'm Sofia, originally from Mexico but living in Antwerp for over 3 years now.

I always grew up with dogs at home, which is why I have such a huge love for them and really see how they are an essential element in a family. We have Ziggy back home, a stray dog who we rescued from the streets, but she had to stay with my parents and unfortunately couldn't come with me to Belgium (my dad would be truly devastated without her).

I miss her terribly and have been persuading my partner into getting a pet of our own, but he never grew up close with animals and still needs some time to adapt to the idea. Because of this, I figured petsitting would be the best option for me so I could fulfill this need while helping someone else with taking care of their pets. I know how demanding they can be!

Although I only grew up with dogs around, I've really enjoyed every house sitting experience I've had with kitties and love taking care of them. I would say that 80% of my experience on Pawshake has been with cats so far!

Each of my walks/home visits last around 45min.
