Ayant toujours vécu avec des animaux depuis que je suis tout petit, je n'aurai aucun mal à garder les vôtres. J'aime jouer, les promener, les nourrir, prendre soins d'eux et donner leur traitement s'ils en ont un (les visites pourront durer environ 1h, environ 30min pour la promenade d'un chien). Je pourrais également arroser vos plantes, relever le courrier,... Je serais plutôt disponible le soir, mais à confirmer selon mon emploi du temps !
En ce qui me concerne, j'ai moi même un chat, qui se prénomme Radja et qui a 4 ans. J'aime tous les animaux, mais je reste plus à l'aise avec les chats et les chiens. Je suis quelqu'un de rigoureux, de gentil, calme, qui aime le contact humain, mais aussi animalier. Je suis en 3ème année d'étude de kinésithérapie. Je suis également très sportif. Je n'ai pas de véhicule pour me déplacer, j'utiliserai donc les transports en commun pour me déplacer chez vous. Je serai capable de garder vos animaux en même temps en supposant que vous en ayez plusieurs !

I would like to have a cat but I can't because I'm too often on the move. However, there are times when I stay at home and I can take care of cats of my neighbours. For the moment my experience is limited to taking care of the cat of my friends for a few days on some occasions.
I know how to feed cats, take care of their toilet and administer simple medications.
My main motivation for catsitting is an opportunity of contact with cats, playing with them and caressing, if they like.

Hello!Je m'appelle Marylou, j'ai 27 ans et je vis entre la ville, càd Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, et parfois la campagne (Silly, près de Pairi Daiza). Comme vous le verrez sur mes photos, j'ai grandi avec une chienne, Nouga, qui vit toujours chez mes parents. Right now I have a five year old husky who has different colored eyes (heterochromia), and a small cat. They are both so cute and I love them so much. They love to play with me and come with me when I do my everyday tasks.

Dogs and cats have always been part of my childhood and best companies for going on adventure exploring parks, forests or playing together. My grandfather always had dogs at home with whom I shared my summers in countryside while at home I had a lovely cat whom I found in snow during the cold winter day. Having animals during my childhood and teenager period I developed my ‘animal language skills’ to connect and build trust relationships.&nbsp;
It has been more than 7 years since I live in Belgium and during this period animals have crossed my path on numerous occasions, e.g on the way to metro when unfamiliar dog insisted to owner to cross the street to say hello to me or cat who desired to have some cuddles. Around 3 years ago developed friendly relationships with my neighbours’ dog who had separation anxiety issues. I was trusted to go on regular walks with their dog to help to lower separation anxiety level and have play time. There was immediate result with less barking on terrace in evenings, and I had great companionship to explore Brussels parcs and green area around Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, Woluwe-Saint-Pierre and Kraainem area. In addition, I also did home visits for cats of my friends who time to time went on holidays in Kraainem and I did it on voluntary bases. But as it happens in Brussels, people reallocate thus I decided to look for new doggy companionship to go for walks. I miss the contact with pets therefore Pawnshake seems to be a great way to connectwith owners who might need help should it be occasional travel needs or too long hours at office.&nbsp;
As I am renting, I am not allowed to have animals in apartment, but I will be happy to stay with pets in your place also overnight since part of week I spend teleworking and I have flexibility to organize my day. &nbsp;
For "home visit": I can stay min. 30 to 40 min a time with your pet for food, fresh water and play.Meanwhile I can bring the mail and water the plants.&nbsp;&nbsp;

My name is Karla, I'm a 20-year-old student from Croatia, currently living in Brussels while studying International Communication and Media. I’ve had pets my entire life and can’t imagine a world without them! My own dog, Vini, is a 12-year-old sweetheart who I miss terribly while I’m here in Belgium, so taking care of other people’s pets would help fill that void.
When I was little, I dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, but I realized I couldn’t see animals in pain. So instead, I decided I’d open a petting salon one day, it hasn’t happened yet but maybe someday... :) I’m passionate about making sure every animal feels loved, cared for, and safe, especially when their owners can’t be there.
Experience:
I've been a proud dog owner for a long time. In addition to that while I volunteered at my hometowns dog shelter, where I did everything from playing with dogs to to cleaning their cages and helping renovavate the shelter. The experience though me a lot about different needs of dogs and how to handle them in all sorts of situations.

I also used to help my neighbors with their pets, occasionally walking them or looking after them when needed. Growing up I had two parrots and I rescued a stray cat so I am comfortable with different animals.

Services:
I offer dog walking and home visits. Typically I do 30 minutes walks, but it can be discussed further depending on you pets needs. I live near Parc de Woluwe where I enjoy talking walks and it's a nice place for animals. 
I'm flexible about picking up your pet, or meeting at a set location, or a drop off. I speak English (and Croatian), so hopefully language won't be an issue!
