Hello! My name is Rachel, and I’ve been an animal lover and owner all of my life.

I’m from Wales originally but have been in Belgium for 20 years. For all of this time I’ve shared my life with many animals, particularly cats, every single one of whom has been adopted from shelters, the streets and even from Greece!

I’ve rescued street cats, found homes for many more, run marathons in support of animal charities, volunteered for rescue charities, rescued dogs in Mexico, volunteered in an animal shelter in Greece and taken rescue dogs for regular walks from their shelters in Belgium.

I am a vegan and a supporter of many animal charities. I come from the countryside and animals of all descriptions have always been part of my life. Cats, dogs, horses, Guinea pigs and hamsters to mention but a few!

I live with my two girls and we have four shelter cats from Belgium, two of whom were 13 when we adopted them, our neighbour's elderly cat who we took in when she died, and most recently two cats from the Greek shelter where I volunteered in the summer. As you can see, we adore animals, and for me, a house is not a home without one!

I would love to care for your pets while you’re away, I have looked after friends cats, rats, rabbits, dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs and even horses!
