Hello fellow pet lovers!

We are Jean-David (JD) & Silvia, a couple who genuinely loves spending time with dogs and cats. We grew up with pets, and today we enjoy caring for our friends’ and families’ dogs, cats or others so we decided to share that love through Pawshake.

🏡 Our Home & Environment

We live in a spacious, bright 95m² apartment on the 5th floor, with a large living area full of natural light where dogs can relax comfortably.

We have no pets of our own, so your dog gets our full attention.

Pets can sleep in their own bed in our bedroom, or rest during the day in the living room. Sofa is allowed with a blanket.

We board only 1 dog at a time to ensure full care and attention

Minimum 3 walks per day, each around 30 minutes minimum.

Parks nearby: Parc Josaphat, Parc de Bruxelles, Cinquantenaire

Dogs are never left alone more than 3 hours (boarding) or 1 hour (daycare)

We can safely administer oral medication if needed

No training or grooming included

🧑‍💻 Our Routine & Availability

We partially work from home with quite flexible schedules, meaning we can spend about 80% of our time with them.

We are mainly available Fridays and weekends, and can sometimes adapt to your specific requests.

🐾 House Rules (for safety & harmony)

Only vaccinated dogs accepted

No destructive behavior (e.g., stealing food, excessive pulling on leash)

Sofa allowed only with a cover/blanket

No backyard — all outdoor time is via walks

Respectful discipline applied when necessary

We are attentive, loving, but also consistent and structured

Your dog will be welcomed into a calm, cozy home where they get love, structure, safety, and lots of attention.

We want your furry friend to feel just as comfortable with us as they do with you.
