Hi! My name is Mare, a Brussels-based journalist and passionate animal lover. Over the years, I’ve done quite a bit of cat- and dog-sitting and have experience with many different breeds and personalities. Spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy, and I always try to make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away.

I’m a clean, responsible, and communicative person, which I believe is important when taking care of someone else’s home and pets. I currently work three days a week from home, which makes it easy for me to give animals the attention and company they need throughout the day.

Although I don’t have pets of my own at the moment, I grew up with a dog and have always been surrounded by animals. During the renovation of my own appartment I was a cat- and dogsitter for months, so I do have experience with different breeds. I’m patient, reliable, and truly enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique character. I live in an apartment in Schaerbeek, close to Josaphat Park—perfect for nice walks with dogs. 

I'm able to walk with them twice a day for 45 minutes, and I'm also open to take them with me when I go for a run if they are intested. 🐾
