My name is Nisara. I am Thai but I also speak English fluently as I grew up in the US. I understand some basic Dutch. In 2016 I moved to Belgium to do my master’s degree in Educational Studies at KU Leuven. Currently, I am living in Leuven with my wonderful partner and doing pet-sitting/dog-walking full-time while working on becoming a canine behaviorist.

I am officially self-employed as animal caretaker, while continuing to learn more about dogs and cats through online courses. I have a diploma in Foundations of Canine Behavior Management and a certification in pet-sitting. Working with animals is what I truly love and care about. My goal is always to understand animals from their point of view in order to provide them with the best care and life they much deserve.

Although I just started pet-sitting in 2018, I've been around dogs and cats my whole life for over 20 years and a dog enthusiast throughout my life. In the past, I extensively volunteered at an animal hospital in the US, assisting veterinarians and staffs. You can be certain that I will do my very best to take care of your pets and make sure that they are happy and safe! Any pets--young or old--are always welcome. I also have some experience caring for sick pets.

My pet-sitting services include:

-Dog-walking: One hour of walking in your neighborhood. If possible and suitable, I could also let your dog play off-leash at a nearby park or at your home. 

-Home visits: One hour visit at your home. I will go to your home to feed and give water to your pets. Also, I will play with them at your home and make sure that your pets are in good health, happy, and safe. Within this one hour, I could take your dog for a walk in your neighborhood as well.

-House sitting: Stay at your home overnight. I will stay at your home to look after your pet(s) (food, water, walk, and play) and make sure that your pet(s) are happy and well. I will not leave your pet(s) alone more than 3 hours. Otherwise, you can let me know if your pet(s) cannot be left alone.  

I will send pictures of your pet(s) and communicate with you to keep you updated on a daily basis. In case your pet(s) has a health condition, I could provide extra care and medication as requested. I can also water your plants and get your mails if needed. For other special requests, please let me know. You are always welcome to contact me if you have any questions!
