Hello, pet lovers! My name is Ezgi Akar, and I’m deeply passionate about caring for animals. Originally from Turkey, where street dogs and cats are a common sight, I found joy and purpose in feeding and loving these stray animals. This experience sparked a lifelong love for pets.

Currently, I'm pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Engineering in Leuven. Currently, I'm living with my boyfriend. I am usually at home during the day, and my boyfriend is home in the evenings. This means your furry babies will never be left alone!

For now, I’m unable to adopt a pet, which makes me miss the daily interactions with animals even more. This is why pet sitting is more than a job to me; it's a way to keep my connection with animals alive and bring joy into my life. Also, it is an opportunity to give and receive unconditional love.

Back in Turkey, I lived with a roommate who adopted a puppy. For a year, we shared the responsibility of caring for this little bundle of joy, which taught me a lot about pet care, patience, and empathy. Furthermore, I have frequently taken my cousin’s dog for walks, adding to my practical experience.

Moreover, I had a parakeet for 10 years, providing me with valuable insights into the care and emotional connection required for smaller pets. This experience has enriched my understanding and ability to connect with various types of animals.

My approach to pet sitting is centered on safety and compassion. I only accept vaccinated pets in my care to ensure the wellbeing of all animals under my supervision. My goal is to provide a loving and safe environment for your pets, just as I would want for mine.
