I live in Leuven, work in Brussels and love spending time outdoors, going for long walks and hikes. While I don’t have professional dog walking experience, I’ve regularly taken care of my sister-in-law’s dog in Spain during visits, including daily walks, feeding and playtime. These experiences have helped me understand how important routine, patience, and clear communication are for dogs.

At the moment, I am offering dog walking services only, but I am open to other services in the future once I gain more experience. I provide calm, attentive walks that are adapted to each dog’s personality, energy level, and comfort. For example, I can offer relaxed, sniff-focused walks for dogs who prefer a slower pace, or longer, more active walks for dogs with higher energy. I always
 allow time for breaks, exploration, and positive reinforcement.

Safety is a top priority for me. I carefully follow all owner instructions, keep dogs securely leashed, stay alert to surroundings, and avoid unsafe areas or interactions. I have been living in Leuven for 2 years and often go on long walks, so I am very familiar with different routes in and around the city. If an unexpected situation arises, such as a loud noise, another reactive dog, or a change in weather, I remain calm, adjust the route if needed, and focus on keeping your dog feeling safe and reassured.

I pay close attention to each dog’s body language and behavior, which helps me adapt to shy, nervous, or easily overstimulated dogs. I’m happy to follow your routines, training cues, and any special care instructions, including support for dogs with sensitivities or specific preferences. My approach is gentle, patient, and based on building trust.

I work from home three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday), which gives me flexibility and plenty of time to focus fully on your dog during walks. I’m new on Pawshake and look forward to gaining experience, learning about dog behaviours, building strong relationships with pet owners, and adding more photos with dogs as I grow.
