I am a humanities student at KU Leuven, from China. Rather than saying I enjoy walking dogs, I would say that I need to be walked by a dog. I grew up with a little dog during my teenage years, and I now have a three-year-old golden retriever back in my homeland. Time resumes when I go back home on vacation: I walk her twice a day, early in the morning and at dusk when I am home. Her size has ranged from that of a teenager to that of an adult. During my stay in Belgium, I have also babysat a Teddy for one week in his owner’s house-fed him, played ball with him, walked him, showered him, accompanied him. Hence, I have mastered the skills needed to walk dogs of different sizes and have, so far, seen quite a few different personalities. I am outgoing with dogs. Plus, running and weight-training are my hobbies.
