Hi, I’m Beren! I’m 22 and currently studying in Leuven. I grew up surrounded by animals and have always felt happiest in their company, so caring for pets comes naturally to me. Since moving away from home I really miss my own dog, and looking after other people’s animals is my way of staying close to something I love while giving your pet plenty of attention and affection. I offer dog walking and general pet sitting, and I adapt to each animal’s routine and personality. Walks are usually around 30 minutes, though I read each dog and adjust, as some want a long, energetic outing, while others are happier with a gentle stroll and calm company. For sitting, I stick to the feeding times, habits, and little rituals your pet already knows, so nothing feels unfamiliar while you’re away. I’ve regularly cared for the dogs of friends and family, so I’m comfortable with different temperaments, and I’m patient and calm, which helps anxious or excitable animals settle with me. If something unexpected comes up, like a dog that won’t settle, a refused meal, or a health worry, I stay level-headed, follow any instructions you’ve left, and contact you straight away. In an emergency I’d take your pet to your vet or the nearest one and keep you updated throughout. I’m flexible around my class schedule and always happy to arrange a meet-up beforehand so you and your pet can get to know me first. I treat your keys and home with complete care, keeping everything secure and leaving your place exactly as I found it. I’d love to meet you and your dog!
