I’ve grown up with pets my entire life, so having animals around has always felt very natural to me. We’ve always had Vizslas in the family — first a girl, and now a very energetic boy — so I’m very used to active dogs that need plenty of exercise, attention and affection. Long walks, playtime and keeping a dog entertained are definitely not a problem for me! I also have experience looking after cats. I’ve done several catsits for friends, both in Brussels and in Copenhagen (a pretty good deal if you ask me :)). I’m comfortable with different personalities, whether that means a very social cat looking for attention or one that prefers a bit more space. I work from home on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, which gives me plenty of flexibility to take care of your dog throughout the day. On those days, I can offer a short walk in the morning, a longer walk around lunchtime and another short walk in the afternoon. I’m also available during weekends. Drop-off and pick-up times can be discussed. I live in an apartment in Brussels, close to La Cambre and the Ixelles Ponds, so there are plenty of great green areas nearby for dog walks. I’m happy to adapt walks to your dog’s energy level and usual routine, whether that means a relaxed stroll or a proper long walk. For dogs, I offer walks and pet sitting, but no overnight stays at my apartment. For cats, I’m also happy to welcome them into my home for overnight or multi-day stays. During their stay, I make sure they get plenty of attention, feeding, playtime and care, always following the routine and instructions you provide.
