Hello! 

My name is Dickon, and I’m thrilled to offer my services as a pet sitter on Pawshake. I've always had a deep love for animals, and being a pet sitter allows me to combine this passion with my experience. Growing up, I had the joy of living with a German Shepherd and a Beagle, giving me experience with both large and small dog breeds. Currently, I share my home with a 3-year-old female Border Collie (Roxy), who keeps me on my toes with her energy and intelligence. I have experience with dog training and trained personally trained Roxy to be a certified service dog (PSD).

My motivation to become a pet sitter stems from my desire to provide a comfortable and stress-free environment for your furry friends. I’ve previously cared for a variety of dogs, ensuring they received the attention, playtime, and affection they deserve. 

I only accept vaccinated pets into my home to ensure a healthy environment for everyone involved. Your pet’s safety and well-being are my top priorities, and I will treat them as if they were my own. 

Services Offered:

Home Visits: I offer home visits where I stay with your pets for about 30 minutes. During these visits, I can also water plants and bring in the mail if needed.

Dog Walking: I provide dog walks that typically last 30 minutes each. I take dogs to nearby parks and trails, ensuring they get plenty of exercise and fresh air.

House Sitting: During house sitting, I can stay in your home for as long as needed. I prioritize home security by locking all doors and windows, and I can set up timers for lights if desired.

Home Boarding and Daycare: I can board up to 3 dogs at a time. I provide 2-3 walks per day, each lasting about 30 minutes. Your pets will never be left alone for longer than 3 hours during boarding or 1 hour during daycare. I ensure that pets are constantly supervised and engaged throughout the day.

Daily Routine and Availability:

My partner and I both work from home, so we are available all day to care for your pets. We typically go to the gym for 2 hours in the morning but are otherwise home to supervise and provide attention. I love sending photo updates so you can see how happy and well-cared-for your pet is.

Home Environment:

My home is cozy and pet-friendly. We have a fully fenced backyard with secure gates, providing a safe space for your pets to play. Our 3-year-old female Border Collie, who is very friendly, lives with us, ensuring that your pet will have a companion.

The guest pets are welcome to sleep anywhere they feel comfortable, whether it's their own bed or a cozy spot in our living area.
