Hello! My name is Raimundo and I am a veterinarian from Chile, currently living in Belgium. I dedicate my professional life to veterinary dermatology, helping dogs and cats with skin and allergy problems. This background allows me to understand pets not only as companions but also as individuals with specific needs, and to provide safe, reliable and knowledgeable care.

I grew up surrounded by animals and today I share my life with Kai, a long-haired Weimaraner who has taught me patience, training, and the joy of outdoor adventures. Because of him, I understand the importance of trust when leaving your best friend in someone else’s hands.

I have experience caring for both healthy pets and those with medical conditions such as allergies, special diets or medication routines. I love going for walks in nature, playing, and giving pets the affection they deserve while keeping their routines consistent.

I welcome all pets into my care, and while vaccination is highly recommended for their health and safety, I adapt to each family’s circumstances. My goal is simple: to make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and happy until you return.

My Services at the Owner’s Home:

I am available for overnight stays in your home to take care of your pets. During my stay, I make sure to spend quality time with them, including play sessions, daily walks, and keeping them company.

As a veterinarian dedicated to dermatology with several courses in animal behavior, I can easily understand what each pet needs. If any mishap or emergency occurs, I have the knowledge to act appropriately. I am also able to administer medication (oral or injectable) and even give fluids if necessary.

In addition, I can offer:

• Baths for dogs and cats, so your pets stay fresh and clean during your absence.
• Basic obedience training (sit, stay, leash walking, recall) to reinforce positive behavior.
• Plant care – I can water your plants and help keep your home in good shape while you’re away.

Dog Walking

• Walks between 30 minutes to 1 hour, adapted to your pet’s needs and behavior.
• I focus on allowing them to sniff and explore, since this is proven to tire them out in a healthier way.
• Walks can be in nearby parks, forests, or areas you suggest.
• Always on a leash, for responsible ownership and accident prevention.

Home Visits & House Sitting

• For house sitting, I can stay for up to 3–4 days in your home.
• Your pet will only go outside under my supervision, and I will be present for meal and medication schedules.
• As a general rule, I wait at least 3 hours after meals before walking dogs to reduce the risk of gastric torsion.I can also water plants, bring in the mail, and ensure your home feels safe and lived in while you’re away.
• I send updates and photos of your pets during my stay, either at the house or on walks.

Safety & Animal Care

Thanks to my training, I can quickly interpret body language and prevent situations of stress or danger with other dogs or cats. I always take extra precautions to keep your pets safe and happy.
