I love cats and taking care of them! 

So, let me take care of your pet, I'll be happy to help! Anxious cats, kittens, social cats & if they would need medication to give, that is no problem and I have experience with that due to volunteering at the cat café and having my own cats at home (previously). I'll be happy to spend some time with them too for playing or petting (if they want to). It all depends on what you require, I come by your house to watch your pet(s), if possible I can even combine it with housesitting. At the moment, having pets at my current housing situation is not possible, so it's not possible to take care of other ones pets into my home.  

I always had cats since I was little. I work as a weekly volunteer at DreamCATchers adoption cafe, which is a place where you can drink something and be around cats that needs some socialising before they can get adopted. In this way, the visitors of the cafe play a part in their socialisation progress. When they are ready, we look for a matching adoption. The cats always come first! 

I have been involved at DreamCATchers since 5 years, so I have experience with taking care of cats, especially anxious ones. Also, we provide information for cat-related toys and herbs, and give tips and provide help for first-line questions to take care of cats, behavioural problems... I know some things about reading a cats facial expressions, I have read the books of Anneleen Bru about Happy Cats and they are very informative! 

Last year, we took care of a cat Leo that was taken from a local food location around Ghent, to see how social he was and if there would be potential for him to become a socialized cat towards humans. It took a lot of time and effort, but I can say that Leo now is staying in the cat cafe and is doing very well there! I would really like to continue fostering of (unsocialized) cats & kittens, but unfortunately due to my housing situation this is not possible right now.   

I am a very engaged and motivated person!
