I'm Ruveyda, 24 years old, a Turkish student that loves cats to death, and currently completing my Master's in UGent.

I have taken care of cats in the past so I know a lot about their personalities. I had a lot of street cats I was looking after when I was in Turkey, but I also had my own house cat (she was called Ipek hihi). I was also a part of a community in my Bachelor years where we would visit animal shelters, and help the animals in need. We successfully help more than 15 cats get adopted in a year, and we are still in contact with some of the owners. But since there are not many street cats in Belgium, I would love to spend some time with them by also helping the owners by looking after them!

It is important to make cats feel comfortable and create a trustable bond between them and humans. I believe cats understand everything, and they copy your reactions and behaviours, so it is important to make them feel safe and secure.

I am not a dog person (I am scared of them unfortunately) so it would be nicer to get hired as a cat sitter instead of a dog one. Happy to be considered, thank you for reading!
