I'm an animal lover with 2-years experience as a volunteer in a dog refugee. I love to spend time and pet them as much as possible. I'm very affectionate with animals :)
I'm doing a PhD in genetic blindness, and due to project schedule at this time I'm in Nijmegen with lots of free time on weekends and afternoons. 

I'm originally from Spain, and we always lived with greyhounds (hunters in Spain use them for a year and if they are not good they get rid of them) at home. Then, I left my home for the university and I volunteered for s dog refugee a couple of days a week, to help cleaning and walk dogs. There I learned about the different personalities of dogs, and most importantly, how to handle them.
I'll be happy to spend some time with a few dogs during my short period in Nijmegen. 

I speak English and Spanish.
Regarding the walks and care of pets, I'm completely open to the owner input. For the walk I believe that at least half an hour walk is necessary.
