Hola! I'm Anghy, an international student living in Ghent and a lifelong animal lover. 🐶🐱🦜 Animals have always been an important part of my life. Back home in Bolivia, I have five dogs and a cat, and I have always been actively responsible for their care and wellbeing. Taking care of them has taught me how important it is to be consistent with their routines, nutrition, hygiene, exercise, health needs and, most importantly, to understand each animal as an individual with their own personality and needs. I have also had cats throughout my life, so I’m comfortable caring for both dogs and cats and understand that they can have very different ways of communicating and interacting. In addition to my personal experience, I have professional experience working with animals. In Bolivia, I was the coordinator of the bird area at a wildlife refuge, where I was involved in the care and management of birds and in making sure their needs, routines and appropriate care protocols were followed. This experience strengthened my patience, attention to detail and sense of responsibility when working with animals. I currently offer dog walking and home visits in Ghent. I’m happy to adapt walks to your dog’s age, energy level and personality. During home visits, I can provide companionship, feeding, fresh water, playtime and bathroom breaks, while keeping their usual routine as much as possible. I understand that leaving your pet in someone else’s care requires a lot of trust. That’s why I take the time to get to know each animal, their habits, preferences and any special needs. Before the first booking, I’m happy to meet you and your pet so we can discuss their routine and make sure everyone feels comfortable. For me, caring for an animal means more than simply providing food and exercise. It means making them feel safe, comfortable, respected and loved. ❤️ I’ll always treat your pets with patience and kindness, and their safety and wellbeing will be my priority. I’m also happy to keep you updated with messages and photos during walks or visits, so you can feel reassured and know how your furry friend is doing.
