Recent graduate from a second master's. I work part-time, mostly work gigs with performing artists so if I'm out of the house it's usually in the evening or afternoon. These gigs regularly take me from my small hometown to some of the largest cities in Belgium (Brussels, Antwerp, Ghent and Leuven) so I know my way around but I'm quite the homebody at heart. Started house-and-cat-sitting in 2023 as a favour for friends on holiday but found out after doing it repeatedly for different people in the years since that I'm good at it and enjoy doing it. First experience (recurring) involved a cat with digestive issues who needed to take medication with her food regularly. Most recent experience involved a 3-week stay with three big fluffy boys under the same roof: two mischievous Maine coons and one chonky fella I couldn't quite make out the breed of (somewhere between Birman and Siberian I'd say). None have been seriously difficult so far but suffice it to say, I take the task of caring for them very seriously, will reach out if I notice irregularities, and make sure they get a lot of love and play in between. Not exclusively a cat person. I love dogs too, I just have no experience taking care of them and I think my schedule is a bit too chaotic to give them the consistent attention and energy they need. My hobbies are reading, cooking, jogging, and sometimes bouldering.
