🐾 Your Dog’s New Best Friend (and Possibly Biggest Fan!) 🐾

Hi there! I’m Mathy, a 26-year-old animal lover originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, now living in the heart of Brussels with my fiancé. I used to spend my time volunteering at ten SPCA in Johannesburg, which started my love for being with pets and animals! If there’s one thing people quickly learn about me, it’s that I absolutely adore dogs!

I grew up in a home full of wagging tails, muddy paws, and unconditional love. At one point, we had four dogs, so caring for animals has been a natural part of my life for as long as I can remember. Since moving to Belgium nearly seven years ago, I’ve continued spending time with dogs whenever I can, including regularly helping care for my fiancé's family dog. Whether it’s long walks (it can be from 15 minutes to 90 minutes), playtime, cuddles on the couch, or making sure they stick to their feeding routine, I genuinely enjoy every moment.

I’m currently taking a career break, which means I have plenty of flexibility and time to give your pet the attention they deserve. I offer dog sitting, dog walking, home visits, feeding, playtime, and lots of affection. Walks can be tailored to your dog's energy level and needs, whether they prefer a quick stroll or a longer adventure. I live in central Brussels, just a short walk from Botanique and Parc Royal, which makes for fantastic walking routes and outdoor enrichment.

My fiancé is equally dog-obsessed, so any dog staying with us will receive double the love and attention! We live in an apartment, which is best suited to small and medium-sized dogs, as well as calm larger breeds that are comfortable in apartment living.

I’m unfortunately allergic to cats, so I’m unable to offer cat boarding. However, I can assist with cat feeding and check-ins when needed, especially with appropriate precautions.

I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member. I’ll care for your pet as if they were my own, keeping them happy, safe, exercised, and thoroughly spoiled while you're away. I can’t wait to meet your four-legged best friend! 🐶❤️
