I am a physics student from Serbia (age 33), currently living and working in Antwerpen.

I grew up with 4 dogs and 3 cats. I currently have one cat (Mare), a rescue kitten from Limburg, who I raised from 2 weeks old. She is a young female cat that is very friendly with other animals. Furthermore, I have been housesitting and taking care of pets for friends in Antwerp for multiple times during the last 4 years.

Our house is a narrow 4-story house in the centre of Antwerpen (100m2), and due to the steep staircase it's not really suited for dogs. I offer services at home for cats (if they are comfortable with other animals: I have one young female cat at home; keeping them in separate spaces is also possible).

I love trying to figure out how to best communicate with an animal that is in my care, learning their body language and ways of expressing needs. I am a very active person and am happy to go on longer walks to more remote areas such as nordksteel or the hobokense polder in Antwerpen (outside the city).

Regarding walks to natural sites that would present a risk in terms of tick/flea/parasite exposure, I require the owner to confirm that the animal has received protection (spray or pill), also a summary of any medical conditions that the animal might have.

What services I offer: I will make sure your animal is safe, fed on schedule (according to your instructions) and taken care of. I will go on regular walks and play with the pet. I perform 30 min to 2h walks. The number of walks per day can be discussed.

How much time I can spend with pets: my work is 100% online so I can be with your pets the whole day and provide 24/7 supervision

My home: My home is a 4-story narrow Dutch house in the centre of Antwerpen, it is suitable for cats (that can get along with other cats, I have a very friendly kitten living with me), however it is not suitable for dogs because of the narrow stairs.
