Hi! I'm Sofia, originally from Mexico but living in Antwerp for over 4 years now.

I always grew up with dogs at home, which is why I have such a huge love for them and really see how they are an essential element in a family. We have Ziggy and Lolo back home: two stray dogs we rescued from the streets, but they unfortunately couldn't come with me to Belgium so they still live with my family.

I miss them terribly and would love to have the company of an animal here, but my current apartment isn't ideal for a pet. Because of this, I figured petsitting would be the best option for me so I could fulfill this need while helping someone else with taking care of their pets. I know how demanding they can be!

Although I only grew up with dogs around, I've really enjoyed every house sitting experience I've had with kitties and love taking care of them. I would say that 80% of my experience on Pawshake has been with cats so far!

Each of my walks/home visits last around 45min.
