Top cities for house sitting in Belgium

Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Borgloon home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Borgloon.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Borgloon home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Hello, my name is Dilara. I've always loved being with and around animals and have experience caring for both cats and dogs. Happy to have a chat and meet, looking forward to meeting your furry friends! :) I also speak NL / Turkish / enough French.
My husband and I do not have our own animals as we live in a one bedroom apartment currently, but I've always had cats growing up and would love to have another when we move into a bigger space. I am happy to take your pets on a walk, or take care of them in your space to still have that connection with them through this way would be lovely.
I am reliable, reply quickly, and am looking forward to meeting and spending time with your pets! Not taking any pets at my own place right now as it's unfortunately too small. Let me know if you have any questions! :)

Before any pet sitting we will go over anything important for your pet and both discuss what they like / dislike / special needs / requests...
I am a calm person and translate this in my way with cats and dogs, I will let them approach me first and earn their trust as we go.

My name is Bruno, I’m 30 years old, and I really love animals. Dogs, in particular, are my favorites! I took care of a puppy that was just a few months old at my parents’ house for a short time, so I’m very comfortable with small dogs and, in general, small- to medium-sized dogs. Through my work as a dog sitter, I’ve also gained experience with senior dogs and have come to understand that each one has its own pace and habits. I enjoy taking long walks and am always willing to play with them for a long time and give them lots of cuddles. I usually take them out at least three times a day and never leave them alone unless there are specific instructions to do so. I prefer small or medium-sized dogs. For overnight stays, I evaluate the owners’ home based on distance; I don’t offer daycare at my place, only at the owners’ home, and I’m always available for walks. I’m very patient and responsible, and if there are any special needs, I’m always careful to meet them and take the best possible care of the dogs! I’m also available to care for cats and other pets :)
