Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Aubel home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Aubel.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Aubel home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

I’m a reliable and caring pet sitter currently studying at FH Aachen, which means I have a pretty flexible schedule and can easily adapt to your pet’s routine. I’m fluent in both German and English.
I grew up in the middle of the Palatinate Forest, so being outdoors has always been a big part of my life. I love hiking, swimming and doing Pilates, and I’m always happy to take you pet on long walks or spend quality time playing with them.
Pets have been part of my life since I was a child. We had three very different cats and a super smart Border Collie named Luna, so I’m used to both independent cats and active dogs that need lots of movement, attention and affection.
I’m also the proud aunty of a lovely Jack Russell Terrier mix.
I’m calm, patient and genuinely enjoy being around animals – your pets will feel comfortable and safe with me and be in the best hands

Liebevolle & erfahrene Katzenbetreuung – Dein Samtpfötchen in besten Händen!Hallo! Hello dear pet parents!
My name is Colby, I'm from California, and I'm currently doing my Master's in Sustainability at Maastricht University.
I grew up with dogs and cats in the house, and spent a lot of time at my grandfather's farm. When I was older, I volunteered at an animal sanctuary for almost six years, taking care of, training, and rehabilitating wild animals. I've worked with dogs and cats of course, but also ferrets, bunnies, and a variety of (exotic) birds in addition to wild animals. Overall, I have a very strong love and passion for taking proper care of animals (though hopefully your cats aren't as messy as Bengal tigers! )
For dogs: I would like to stick to the routine you already use: your leash and harness, your usual route (unless otherwise requested), and no off-leash time unless you've told me it's okay. I find that dogs are much more comfortable this way, even if someone new is walking them. I always bring water and poop bags, check for hot pavement depending on the season, and let older or lower-energy dogs set the pace.
For cats: I follow your feeding schedule and portions, refresh water, and can scoop the litter box every visit if needed. I also let you know if something is off, like whether they're actually eating, whether the litter box looks normal.
I'm comfortable giving medication on schedule and following special diets as you've set them up, though I don't do injections. Before the first visit ask where everything lives: food, meds, carrier, leash.
Clear communication matters a lot to me. You'll get photos and a short message after every visit, and I'm happy to do a quick video call if you'd like to see them yourself.
Here in Maastricht I unfortunately don't have any animals of my own to take care of, but I would be happy to take care of yours! Every animal has their own way of communicating and their own individual needs, so before meeting your pet I'd love a quick chat about how you'd like me to speak to, move around, and interact with him or her (plus any quirks, fears, or habits I should know about). I can feed, walk, play with, or simply keep your pet company!

I'm Leonie, 24 years old and from Germany.
I do understand Dutch but am limited in my speaking skills.
I'm studying psychology and as it's a full time studies, I'm studying a lot and am in class a lot. For that reason I want to get a balance in my life which I want to combine with dogs and going on a walk. I have always been in love with the nature and gods and wouldn't mind going with dogs for a long walk. I am an animal lover, in particular dogs. They show and feel emotions which is a comforting zone for me, personally.
I haven't had a dog myself but I walked and spent time with dogs of my friends and family (as seen in the attached photos) therefore I know what to look out for and how to take care of them. Furthermore, I've cat and dog sat already here on Pawshake for more than a year now.
Preferably, I cant take your dog at my place because my landlord has his strict rules about that place. Generally, I don't mind whether the dog is vaccinated or not.

Hi there! I'm Hans, based in Vaals right at the Dutch-German-Belgian border, just minutes from Aachen. I love spending time with animals and would be happy to look after yours.I lived with both a dog and a cat for several years and know how different every animal is. I'm patient, attentive and always make sure your pet feels comfortable and safe.I offer dog walking, home visits and house sitting. Vaals and the surrounding area are perfect for walks with quiet streets, green paths and plenty of nature right on the doorstep. If your animal has specific routines or needs, just let me know. I'll follow them to the letter. My walks usually last around 30 minutes, but I'm happy to adjust based on your dog's energy and needs. During home visits I make sure your pet is fed, has fresh water, gets some playtime and attention, and I'll always send you a photo update so you know everything is going well. I'm comfortable giving medication if needed. Just walk me through the routine. In case of an emergency, I'll contact you immediately and head to the nearest vet if necessary.Feel free to send me a message. I'm happy to do a free meet & greet first! I've always taken care of my family's pet since I was a kid. Sometimes I take care of my best friend's dog in Hasselt and a friend's cat in Liège whenever they need to travel for some days. I now live in Liège with my boyfriend and his dog, Archie, a playful and energetic Australian shepherd. I love doing long walks with our dog in the forest, playing, petting, and taking care in general. I can also administer any medical treatment if necessary. I also love spending time taking care of and playing with my friends' cats. Available for walks in Liège and nearby cities. Also available to the day care in more cities.

I have a very flexible schedule now and can adapt pretty easily to take care of your pet with patience and attention, and of course, love.

Bonjour !

Hi! My name is Mary, and I’m a PhD candidate currently living in Maastricht, the Netherlands.

I truly love cats. I have a cat named Leo who is currently in my home country, and unfortunately I wasn’t able to bring him with me. Caring for him taught me how much trust it takes to leave your cat in someone else’s hands — and I deeply respect that trust.

When I spend time with a cat, my goal is simple: to treat them with the same patience, gentleness, and respect that I would give my own. Every cat has their own personality and comfort zone. Some want quiet company. Some want play and interaction. Some prefer space and soft voices. I take the time to understand what makes your cat feel safe and happy, and I adapt to their individual needs.

Being around cats gives me a deep sense of calm, and I genuinely enjoy their unique personalities — from the playful and curious ones to the quiet observers who just want a cozy spot nearby. For me, cat sitting is not about money; it’s about giving attention, care, and positive energy while their human is away.

I am responsible, attentive, and gentle. Even though I find cats incredibly cute, I always remain calm and respectful of their boundaries. Your cat’s comfort and well-being will always be my priority.

I would be happy to care for your cat with the same warmth and thoughtfulness I gave my own

Hallo!

Was ich anbiete:

Hallo! Mijn naam is Céline Houben, 23 jaar.
