For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Leuven for a doggy day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Leuven Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer doggy day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Leuven sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

Hi! This is Yanan. I live at Woluwe Saint Lambert with my boyfriend David and our 4-year-old husky girl Nova. She is a super friendly, sociable, calm, beautiful, fluffy, and a little bit dramatic (when asking for snack) angle. We are an international family with open mind, and enjoy the company of the furry babies. We can communicate in English, French, Chinese, Romanian, and Italian. My boyfriend has a more flexible work schedule, so at least one of us is usually at home. Your dog will receive all the attention and love they need!
A little bit about me:
I don't do this for the money, so I only charge a very modest price. Having a dog has been my dream since a young age but I couldn't because my mom didn't like the idea (following pet influencers on social media was all I could do back then). After moving to Brussels, I adopted Nova with my boyfriend and she has since brought so much love and happiness to us. She has the most amazing personality and I'm actually often very inspired by her uplifting spirit! Over the years, I've met many of other people's dogs, and I really couldn't decide who's my favorite. They are just angles on earth. My heart melts every time I see those happy souls. I honestly can't imagine my life again without a dog.
So out of pure love, I joined Pawshake! I offer dog walking service, home visit service, and boarding services. I'm very new to Pawshake so I currently don't have a review from doggie parents (The hardest part is getting started right?) but I want to reassure you that I'm very serious about it. if you are interested in my profile, don't hesitate to send a message! I respond super fast:)
a little bit about the service:
We live in a spacious apartment with a balcony, and dogs can sleep on the balcony during the night if they want(the balcony door is kept open). Our residence area is very green and dog-friendly. We are super active: on a daily basis, we frequent Rodenbeek Park, which has off-leash area; Georges Henri Park, Woluwe Park, and Cinquantenaire. During the weekend, if weather allows, we also drive out of Brussels for a swim in the lake in the fenced dog park, or go for a walk in the forest. So if your babies love outdoor activities, they are in for a treat! Our dog Nova doesn't have problem welcoming other dogs into her home, either small or big dogs. She is not protective over resources either. We can introduce them in a dog park first and see how their chemistry is.
For medical emergency, we can drive your dog to the emergency center and we'll contact you for further guidance. I won't be able to give oral medicine or do the injection.
For a boarding service, besides lots lots of love, I also offer:
3-4 bathroom breaks
1-2 long walks (total time 2-3h, total energy release)
cook for your dog according to your instruction (I cook for my dog, so it's not a trouble at all)
grooming (brushing and bathing if necessary)
daily photo dump (can be as frequent as you like, I don't mind).
occasional treats (can be fruits, veggies, dog snack, according to your instruction)
We can only take dogs who are relatively quiet(no excessive barking), non destructive, house trained, friendly with other dogs, able to stay home without people for a few hours if necessary.
If you'd like to inquire for information, let me know! Can't wait to meet you and your fur babies!

Hi! I love animals, all kinds, always had pets and honestly can’t imagine my house without one. I have two cats, they’re super chill and get along really well with other animals so that’s never been an issue.

I’ve been looking after dogs for over two years now so I do have real experience with it, big and small, calm ones and high energy ones too like puppies or beagles. I take them out three times a day and honestly love giving them long walks whenever I can, it’s one of my favorite things tbh. I’ve also looked after multiple dogs at the same time, I can walk them together no problem or separately if that works better for them.

On weekdays they’re only alone during my work hours (9-3), and on weekends I’m free all day for excursions and just hanging out together.

A typical day: I feed them and take them for a walk in the morning before work, another walk when I get back, then playtime and cuddles at home, dinner, and one last walk after that before bed.

I’m used to following specific routines or training instructions from owners, and I have experience with puppies too. I’ve also looked after dogs with special needs and given medication when needed, so if your pet needs a bit of extra care that’s not a problem for me. I’ve never actually had an emergency come up, but I have a vet nearby I trust just in case.

My flat doesn’t have a terrace but there’s a small balcony that’s pet-proofed with a safety net, so it’s totally secure, no risk of anyone getting out. It’s a calm, safe space for pets to relax in.

I know leaving your pet with someone new can feel like a big deal, so I like to do a quick meet up first, just so my cats and your pet can meet and everyone’s comfortable before we confirm anything. Pretty much the only condition I have but I think it matters.

After that your pet will be treated like family here, lots of love and attention, this isn’t just a job for me, I genuinely enjoy having them around.

If it sounds good message me and we set up the meet up!

In my house all dogs are welcome. I have a very friendly Bernese Mountaindog named Rebel. I have a big garden completely fenced so the dogs can stay outside when I'm not around. I do try to spend as much time as I can with my dog and take her out for a walk 2 or 3 times a day: we either walk in the area or we go by car to bigger parcs in the area (Hofstade, Zemst, Melsbroek, Laken, ...)In the evening the dogs are of course welcome inside so we can cuddle and play.I also have 2 chicken who stay in their hen.I used to have a rabbit who also ran around the house and in the garden freely.About myself: I'm a school teacher so I usually work between 7h30 and 16h00. During school holidays I like to travel, mostly with my dog. We go in roadtrips through Europe together. I also like to spend time in my garden or just reading at home.I have experience hosting people who sometimes bring their dog along with them. Rebel always seems to get along fine with the other dogs.

Hi, I am Gerlinde, owner of a border collie, Bowie, of 1 year old. Before Bowie, I've had a Swiss Shepherd, Aisha, for 10 years. I'm raised among animals: my parents had sheep, chickens, rabbits, deers, cows, birds and two dogs (bouviers). I also had a horse I rode on.
When my dogs were little, I also relied on Pawshake when I had to go to work. I've had very good experiences doing so. So now I would like to do something in return the moments that I'm free.
I love dogs and animals in general. They are so dependent on us and so I like to give them the best I can. I've volunteered in animal rescue centres a couple of times. I love walking dogs and caring for them.
If there is a match with my dog, boarding is also possible. I only do that when I'm free myself so I can take good care of the dogs. The condition there is that your dog sleeps in a bench and had the necessary vaccines.
Hope to meet you soon!

We offer a high-activity, low-stress environment tailored specifically for hypoallergenic breeds. Because we have our own Shih Tzu, we understand the specific care these breeds need. Our daily routine is built around movement and fresh air, including four dedicated walks and plenty of "zoomie" time in our garden.
We are a "never-alone" household. Whether we’re out on a stroll or relaxing inside, your dog will always have us and our resident Shih Tzu for company. Our 5-year-old pup loves to play, but he’s also a master of the "power nap," making him a great companion for dogs of all energy levels.

Hallo!

Hallo iedereen,
Mijn naam is Kim.

Hi there! My name is Eylül, and I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Leuven. I have grown up surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember, so caring for pets has always been a natural and joyful part of my life. Since moving to Belgium, I have really missed spending time with animals, looking after them, and giving them the affection and attention they deserve. That is why I would love the opportunity to help care for your pet!

I have experience with dog walking, I have done it on and off for 4 years. As well as cat home-sitting, and I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I would only be maximum 2-3 hours away from the house during house sitting. I always calmly introduce myself to pets understand what they want and let them draw the boundaries. After this introduction I give them lots of love within their boundaries of course. I like to play with pets to get the first adrenaline of meeting someone new out of their body.
I am patient, responsible, and very easygoing around animals. I understand that every pet has its own unique personality and needs, and I adapt quickly to make them feel at ease. I will walk for an hour with dogs, if more is needed I will also do that and adjust to the routine of your dog if needed.
I have dealt with emergency situations since I am a cat owner and approach these moments calmly. I have dealt with cats that have asthma and know about the medication. I have also dealt with cats who do not get along well. I will do my best to provide loving, reliable, and attentive care for your furry companion!
I am well organized and able to manage multiple bookings in one day. I organize my day around these bookings. For example if I am doing housesitting for a cat I only take one dog walking booking for the day. Throughout the day every hour I send the parent an updated photo of what we are doing. I am avaliable during the week although this does depend on my workload. I am comfortable with working pet owners that have open communication, clearly indicate what their pet likes and doesn't like, the quirks and their routines with their pet to make the home or the walk the most comfortable.
