For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Bassenge for a home day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Bassenge Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer home day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Bassenge sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

Hi! I’m a student at Maastricht University and a huge animal lover. I grew up with pets, mostly cats, so taking care of animals has always been part of my daily life. Being around them from a young age taught me how to understand their different personalities, routines, and needs. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.
I’ve looked after pets for friends and family several times, helping with feeding, walks, playtime, cleaning up after them, and simply keeping them company while their owners are away. I know every pet is different, some are very energetic and love attention, while others need more patience and quiet space and I always try to learn to what makes them feel most comfortable.
If I’m taking care of your pet, I like to keep their normal routine as much as possible so they feel relaxed and secure. For dogs, that can mean regular walks, playtime, and lots of attention. For cats, I understand the importance of giving them space while still making sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I also always pay attention to small changes in behavior or mood, because I know pets can get stressed when their owners are away.
I can offer boarding and daycare in my home as well. I live in a calm and clean environment, and because of my flexible student schedule, I’m able to spend a lot of time with the pets I look after instead of leaving them alone for long periods. I also prefer vaccinated pets, especially for boarding, just to keep everything safe and healthy.
For me, pet sitting is not just a side job, I genuinely enjoy being around animals and building trust with them. My main priority is always making sure your pet feels happy, safe, and loved while you’re away.

Bonjour,

Hi! I’m from Turkey and currently living in the Netherlands for my studies. Back home in my family house, I’ve taken care of both dogs and cats, and I loved every moment with them — from playtime and cuddles to making sure they were fed, safe, and happy. Since moving here, I’ve really missed having them around, which is why I’d love to spend time caring for other pets.I might not have “professional” pet-sitting experience, but I truly believe what matters most is patience, kindness, and genuine love for animals. I know how important it is to feel your pet is safe and cared for while you’re away. I'm looking forward to meeting some furry friends, whether it’s going for a walk, giving belly rubs, or simply keeping them company at mine place or iether your place. For safety, I only accept vaccinated pets.
