We’ve put together some easy-peasy dog treat recipes in the Pawshake test kitchen for you to try at home!

Making your own dog treats ensures you know EXACTLY what is going into your fur-kids tummy – making it easy to avoid nasty additives. Be sure to chat with your vet just in case you’re concerned that your doggo has food intolerances (especially regarding wheat and dairy).

The great thing about making doggy treats is that your pooch really doesn’t mind in the slightest if they’re misshapen or imperfect. And it’s a perfect chance to get the kids into the kitchen…Fido won’t mind their little fingers going into his biccie dough!

Be sure to check that your ingredients are as natural as possible – don’t use peanut butter or yoghurt that contains any artificial or non-sugar sweeteners as this can be very toxic to dogs.
