Hey, ik ben Marloes, 30 jaar. Ik heb zelf een kat en ik fungeer als tijdelijk opvanggezin voor een
zwerfkat van de vzw Kat Zoekt Thuis. Ik heb ook ervaring met het verzorgen van honden, fretten, knaagdieren en schildpadden. Ik heb zelf 9 jaar lang ratten gehouden.
Ik ben van Nederland, maar ik woon in Merelbeke, waar ik Diergeneeskunde studeer, ik ga nu naar het 5e jaar. Deze job is mij op het lijf geschreven aangezien ik uiteraard enorm graag dieren zie en de omgang met dieren en eventueel medische verzorging zeer nuttige ervaring is voor mijn verdere studie.
Aangezien ik veel weken per jaar moet studeren kan het zijn dat ik (indien gewenst) mijn cursus meepak en een aantal uur of zelfs een volledige dag bij uw dieren blijf terwijl ik studeer, dit kan een fijn idee zijn voor de dieren en voor u omdat de dieren minder lang alleen zijn. Hier hangen uiteraard geen extra kosten aan vast.

Hi, my name is Marloes, I am 30 years old. I have a cat myself and I am a foster mom to a stray cat from a rescue organisation called Kat Zoekt Thuis. I also have experience with taking care of dogs, ferrets, rabbits, rodents and tortoises. I have had pet rats for 9 years.
I'm from the Netherlands, but I live in Merelbeke. I'm studying to be a veterinarian, I'm starting my second master year in September. This job is perfect for me because I obviously love animals more than anything and the extra experience in handling and medical treatment of your pets is very helpful for my studies.
Since I spend a lot of time studying throughout the year, I sometimes like to bring my books and stay with your pets for a few hours or even a full day, if that is alright with you of course! It can be a nice for you and your pets to know that they have some company and I am there to keep an eye on them. Of course I don't charge extra for the extra hours I spend with them!

Ik had onverwacht iemand nodig om de volgende twee dagen met mijn hond te gaan wandelen over de middag en Marloes was een redding. Super snelle en duidelijke communicatie, zond mij een foto van hun twee de eerste dag en mijn hond was duidelijk op zijn gemak. Aanrader!
Marloes was great! We had no idea that lilies were dangerous for cats so she informed us immediately when she saw them in our house upon her arrival the first day. As one of our cats had yellow pollen on his face she contacted the vet to make sure everything was ok and she stayed for full days instead of just visiting, to check up on them and make sure they weren't getting sick. She sent us a few pictures as well to reassure us that everything was fine with Bob and Eddie :) It was our first experience with Pawshake and we were glad our first sitter turned out so great. We will rebook her for sure during our next trip.
