Hii! My name is Svea, I'm a student taking online classes based in Gent, Belgium. I travel as much as I can while studying remotely. I'm an experienced pet sitter and general animal lover. Caring for animals makes both me and the pet happy, that's the ideal win-win situation if you ask me. :) I have experience with pet sitting for dogs, cats, rodents and chickens. Exploring the area I end up in and wandering around new neighbourhoods awakens the adventurer in me. I've worked at farms in Finland and Germany as a volunteer where I was taught to care for farm animals like goats, sheep, ponies, ducks etc.
I'm an enthousiast, caring person that likes to be creative in her free time. I love writing poems and short anecdotal stories, making art using whatever I have on hand and I'm learning to play some guitar as I like to challenge myself to learn new skills. Being around animals has always been something that felt vital for me. Animals facinate me in many ways and inspire me to live in the moment.
It's not possible to host any pets at my apartment in Gent, but I'm looking forward to walking your dog, cat, goat,... or helping to take care of your pet in any other way! :)
I do long (>90min) and short/ medium long walks (30-60min) in urban areas and city (dog) parks, surrounding greener areas are also possible. I can play fetch and other games for hours if required. House sitting is possible for up to 14 days and house visits up to two times a day. During house visits I can stay up to 90 minutes per visit and do other tasks around the house such as watering plants or vacuuming if needed. I like to leave a place cleaner than I found it, so I try to make an effort to clean, especially while house sitting.

We konden onze dieren (kat, cavia's en kippen) met een gerust hart achterlaten bij Svea. Ze werden tot in de puntjes verzorgd en ook het huis liet Svea piekfijn achter. We kunnen haar zeker aanbevelen als petsitter!
