Hi, I am a full time administrator with 3 pets. One perfectly aged 14 plus year young Amstaff (deceased) and 2 round fluffy long haired cats. And proud Canne Corso parent (with epilepsy 😔). I live and work in Brussels Woluwe St Lambert area.

Sadly, I cannot walk my dog daily anymore as her age finally caught up with her. My dog her rear hips have their own steering and sometimes her engine is running but with no one behind the wheel makes walking extremely diffecult. I loved walking her after work even if it was just to breath a bit after a stressy day of work or just to enjoy the walk with her that she enjoys very much. I miss this so I have decided to enlist at pawshake after doing a walkalong with a friend who is a pet sitter and I loved it. Also I have heard nice stories of animals and housesitting from them.

My experience is with young and old dogs, mostly medium size to extra large breeds. (BennerSenner, Great Dane, Amstaff, Labrador, Appenseller senne, English Bulldog and some other mixed breeds). Since I was 9 we have always had dogs and cats and other small animals, so I am confident with alot of different sizes and types of animals.

In general, I try to maintain the standards for all types of bookings stipulated by PawShake and the following:

- In my services for dog walking I can offer 1 hour of walking (give or take, it can easly be over an hour) where I not only focus on physical attention such as walking or just playing but I also try to stimulate them mentally with commands by voice and hand signals where I would start with basic training such as sit, lay, stay and walking on the leash. Socialisation I can also help with as I am confident enough where I can read the dogs signals and of other approaching dogs. During walks I can also brush them during shedding periods or if I see that they may have gotten dirty due to our fantastic micro climate. On my walks I use a training leash aswell as a yoyo or retractebale 7m leash. With me I carry water and some treats (Royal Canin dogfood broken in smaller pieces) a brush and a dog toy. If you prefeur I can easily switch to whatever you would like if provided. I have no preference for the type of dogs or cats but certain dog powerbreeds may need more then 1 "Meet and Greet".

- For Home visits (30 minutes) I can feed and water them or let them out for a while and take care of them as above, here I would also focus on the above mentioend for an hour minimum. Cats are somewhat different as we live them and not the other way around :) but here i can feed them or clean the litter tray and keep them company. If needed brushing and nail clipping included, depending the character off course.

Availability: if I do not go to work can be in the mornnig, midday or evening. Weekends can be different where midday or evening are more preferred. On work days I can offer my pet services after 18:00.

- Housesitting is different depending the needs and I would ask that this is discussed when needed. I can take care of smaller animals as well such as cleaning a hamster cage to cleaning a fish bowl, feeding some farm animals but as mentioned these are to be discussed if such services are needed.
