Since i was a kid a wanted to be a doctor for animals. In my childhood i was bringing home all types of animals (cats, dogs, turtles, even lizards) and i was trying to help them if they were hurt or feed them if necessary. All my life i'm surounded with cats and dogs and that love for animals defined my future career. I first had a cat Ketty and i spent my early childhood with her and she had a long and fruitfull life. Now i have a mixed breed dog Mia, she is ten years old (you can see her running beside my friend's dog in the photo) and she is still vital and joyfull. She is very intelligent dog an our connection is amazing. I adopted her from the shelter when she was a year and a half old and since then both of our lives are richer.
I finished a specialised secondary school for veterinary technicians and after that enrolled to University of veterinary medicine in Belgrade, Serbia.I became a veterinarian in 2012. I finished my internship in small animal clinic in Belgrade. After my internship i worked as a pet sitter for three years in Belgrade.I was a dog walker, carer and i did pet sitting sometimes for 10-15 days usually hired by people who were going on a vacation. I've done multiple sleep overs with several animals (dogs, cats, rabbits). During gaining my competences in natural science field, i developed interest for research and public health. Now i'm obtaining my master degree in the field of epidemiology. Even if i'm devoting some of my time to research now, animals are still my biggest love and i miss spending time with them and working with them closely, on a daily basis.
I know a lot about animal behaviour and i'm confident that i can provide best quality care for them. Due to the fact that i'm trained to recognise symptoms and changes of a behaviour and habits, i can quickly react and ask colleagues in the nearest clinic or your personal vet for help. Beside health, i can take care of their regular grooming, feeding, walking and playing. I have an apportunity to do this job part time and i really enjoy in that possibility. I'm looking forward to meet new owners, have permanent and satisfied clients after conducting my service and most importantly new animal friends!
Mina is fantastic. She responded quickly, is very professional and is great with my little dorkie. She is a vet and was really helpful when he ate chocolate and she told me exactly what to do. I highly recommend Mina and will 100% use her again!
We hired Mina's home visit services on two days when we had to be away all day from our two dogs and she's fantastic. One of our dogs, Truvi, is very difficult: she's anxious and can become aggressive to people and other dogs if not handled well. Mina knew exactly how to deal with her. We did a meet and greet before and I saw how well she managed Truvi and the dynamic between the two dog. She knew exactly what to do and not to do to reassure them. Truvi never trusts visitors, is terrified of them , and barks non-stop in their presence. But very soon truvi was asking Mina for a petting! And Mina sent me a photo of Truvi sleeping at her feet on the second visit! She's clearly very experienced and talented with anxious dogs. Can't recommend her enough.
