Hello, my name is Salome, I'm from Ecuador. I have been living in Belgium from the past 4 years. I have a full time job in a company, however my schedule is very flexible so I can work many days from home and I can cut my day around 4pm to take my dogs for their 2-hours daily walk.

I live here in Belgium with my two rescued dogs (Ramon and Lucy) that  came with me from Ecuador. 

I have a large experience with dogs and cats. I have always loved animals, but my love increased after I adopted my two dogs 5 years ago when I started rescuing more dogs and cats and I became a foster mom for many of them. 

After moving to Belgium, I also became a foster mom of 2 Ukrainian cats, they stayed with me for 6 months until their family found a place to live. I also lived here with another Ukrainian dog that stayed with us for 3 months (with her human family). Besides that I have been doing some dog sitting for some friends and family. 

However, this  is my first time formally offering my services as a pet sitter.

I decided to become a pet sitter mainly because I love all animals and I enjoy spending my time with them.

Second, because as a dog mom, I understand the limitations and stress we go through when we want to travel and we cannot take our dog(s) with us. And also because I know that it can be scary to leave our dogs with people we don't know.

And third, it is because I donate an important part of my salary to rescue stray dogs in my home country, and this money would be used to rescue, neutered, feed, and pay medical bills of more dogs (and cats).

My normal routine with my dogs is:

1. Short walk in the morning to pee. (Somewhere between 7:30 and 9am).

If working from home (Which I do most of the time) a short 5-10 min walk at noon. And around 4-5pm a 2 hours walk to the park to play (they are off leash and prefer to walk and explore rather than staying in one place). At night between 9-10 pm another short walk to pee. 

Also, my dogs carry a gps so if I house sit a dog I will put the gps to them and grant access to his/her dog parent to be able to monitor them. 

During the weekends the walk can extend to 3 hours most of the time (in summer).
