Romy and Wesley

Hi everyone! We are is Romy and Wesley, 30-something living in Evere (BXL). We can speak Dutch, English and French. We are chef cooks from occupation. Besides that, I would do something more for the good cause, for animals.

I'm the owner/cat dad of Rosie, our tiny cute cat for almost 6 years.
I always been surrounded by pets since my childhood: dogs, cats and also hamsters and turtoises. I do love all pets equally, I have no preferences whatsoever. 

Several years ago I volunteered with animals abroad. In Thailand I took care of the rescued primates in a Wildlife Rescue Center: I'd led a small team to prepare the nurritions and foodbowls for the primates and also refreshed their drinkingwater more than once a day. In Sri Lanka I worked for a small Sea Turtle Hatchery project where they are concerned with the welfare of the endangered animals. Two unforgetable experiences whatsoever.

I came in contact with Pawshaks through a former roommate. He did take care of a cat during the Covid-lockdowns, and sometimes I took over when he wasn't available. I really loved taking care of the cat: overall I get satisfaction if I can make an animal happy. Threat an animal good with friendship, get friendship back from them. It can be simple as that, right?

Our services would be: come every day at your place for 30-60minutes and take care for your pet.
You can also book me to go walk with your dog(s) (fyi: I try to reach at least 10.000 steps a day, so why wouldn't I do those steps together with a dog: win-win situation!)
