I have a nervous sweetheart called Shay who is not a fan of cat hotels. I reckon quite a number of our furbabies would prefer to stay home while you are away making new memories =)
I would be happy to come and take care of your cat during your absence. I love all animals but especially cats. I've been cat sitting for all my neighbours in my 6 years in Belgium! I'm from Singapore, and we have a lovely community there of cat carers for both strays and pets. I'd be happy to dogsit as well but my experience is limited to my friends' dogs ;)
I do not host cats or dogs in my home - I would be happy to visit your home while you are away.
I try to stay at least 30 minutes to put out food and water, to clean the litterbox, and, if your cat would allow it, to play with it and brush it. If your cat is a bit shy, I can stay and read or speak gently to them, and let them get used to my scent and presence. If your cat needs a bit of outdoor time, I'd be happy to let them out and bring them in again later that day (two visits a day) or the next day (one visit a day). Non-vaccinated and un-chipped cats are fine by me, but do let me know their medical and security needs.
I work fulltime and use public transport so your address needs to be accessible by tram or bus, and I'm comfortable checking in on weekday evenings and weekends in Schaarbeek and Woluwé-Saint-Lambert. Any other address would depend on my schedule ;)
Looking forward to meet you and your kitty!
Sofia took excellent care of our fur baby. She clearly loves cats and knows how to soothe them. We had a great communication and she sent multiple pictures and videos daily. I would definitely recommend her!
We were very pleased to have Sophia take care of our kitty, Tora. Sophia is conscientious, diligent, and a very good communicator. We will definitely use her again.
