Hello, my name is Elina, I am 27 years old living in Oud-Heverlee with my partner and our energetic basenji Bille (2 years old, neutered female). We live in a spacious groud floor apartment with a big, fully fenced garden. A short walk from our home we have a nice forest park, and a short drive from us is the fenced unleash area Hondenlosloopzone Speelberg. We used to live in Latvia where we'd often watch over Bille's doggie friends and have loads of fun. A happy dog is a tired dog!

Most days I work from home so I am able to look after your dog 24/7. Originally registered on Pawshake to find Bille a nice person to stay with when we go on trips, but I decided to also welcome others to stay with us occasionally. It would be fun for Bille and myself to sometimes have another dog with us. I train Bille with positive reinforcements and few simple house rules. I approach other dogs the same way in a calm, postivie, but assertive manner.

Depending on the needs of your dog, we can offer up to 3 walks a day. I am familiar with administrating any medicine if needed. At night our dog Bille sleeps in a seperate room in her bed. Normally we keep inside doors open, so your dog can pick a spot it likes on the floor anywhere. You are welcome to bring your dogs own pillow/bed of course. We allow dogs to chill on the sofa, but not on beds. 

Bille always wants to be the Alpha and assert dominance. She prefers bigger dogs (she is approx. 10kg). She can sometimes be playing rough. Never has issues with male dogs, sometimes can be teritorrial with females. We would have to do a meet&greet to see how Bille is getting along with your dog outside, and then in our home.
