My name is Rob, and I’ve been living in Brussels for just over a year. I speak multiple languages besides English—Dutch, French, German, and Russian.

My story:
I grew up on my family’s farm in South Africa, where animals were always a central part of our lives. The farm is home to horses, goats, and all kinds of animals, so an animal-oriented life has always been at the heart of my upbringing. 

Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of looking after pets for friends, family, neighbors, and even people I’ve just met, and it’s something I find truly rewarding. I also have my own beautiful German Shepherd, who was rescued from a shelter in Russia and originally came from Ukraine.

My services: 

As a pet sitter and walker, I’m usually available in the afternoons and evenings. I offer a variety of services, including administering medication (pills, additions to food etc., no injections!) and providing basic grooming like nail trimming and brushing. I also offer home visits, where I spend at least one hour with your pet, making sure they’re comfortable and cared for. During these visits, I not only take care of their basic needs but also play with them to keep them entertained and active. Additionally, I can water your plants, bring in your mail, and take care of other basic tasks.

If you're looking for dog walking services, my walks typically last between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on your dog’s needs. I love taking dogs for strolls through local parks, forested areas, familiar neighborhood paths, and leash-free areas if that's what you're looking for (by default, your dog will be leashed at all times). In general, I prefer larger dogs - the bigger the dog, the better!

For those needing house sitting, I follow regular security measures and will gladly adhere to any specific requests you may have regarding home security.

I also understand that every pet is unique, and I’m happy to follow any special instructions or training methods you have in place to ensure your pet feels as comfortable and happy as possible (for example, not being allowed on furniture, only getting food/treats after a certain command etc.)

I know how important pets are to their families, and I treat each one as if they were my own, giving them all the love and attention they deserve.
