Hello and welcome to my profile!

I'm Christina and when I'm not in the woods howling together with my pack, you can find me
in South Antwerp. I am 41 year old basketball philosopher.  

Services:

Dog/ Cat Walks: 30-45 min walks

We will go around the neighborhood, go to dog parks, or just go sniffing around, bird watching, staring at the river, or sunbathing.

We can go tram or bus hopping.

Ride the bike, walk in slow motion or run as fast as possible

I also plan day activities- on these days we could go driving to the forest, the beach or sightseeing. 

The world is going to be our oyster! Mondays and Tuesdays I am avalaible Morning, afternoon and evening! Wednesdays till Sundays I am available after 13h00, late afternoon and evening. 

Home Visits: 30min or 1hour

I'll spend some time with your cats or dogs. I'll feed and pet them. I will provide any medications and care for them.

Make sure everything is in place and clean the area if needed. I will water your plants and pick up your mail.

I am available for home visits all week- Morning, afternoon and evening!  

House sitting: 3 nights max

Make sure everything follows its normal routine and flow while you are away!

About me: 

I grew up in Athens, the capital of Greece, a country where unfortunately many dogs and cats live on the streets. Since I was 8 years old I started helping stray dogs and cats, providing them with first aid and shelter with the tolerance of my parents. 

As I grew older I began to have contacts with veterinarians in my neighborhood and animal shelters and learned more and more about how to provide appropriate help to these animals. 

Later on, I attended several dog behavior and positive training seminars, including the famous Turid Rugaas
"Calming Signals", which played an important role in shaping my philosophy around our relationship
with dogs.

I am aspiring to get certified as a dog trainer and learn as much as I can!

I have no professional experience as an official dog walker, but from the age of 8 to 41 there hasn't been a day that I haven't been out in the world in the company of a dog (or cat sometimes). Our family dogs and my friend's dogs, who have always trusted me with them when they were away on business or vacation, as well as dogs from shelters.

For as long as I can remember, living my life through the eyes of my best friends (the dogs and the cats!) has always been the driving force behind my daily life. I am used to being surrounded by an abundance of dogs and cats and I miss that here in Antwerp. Through my services I would like to be able to have more of that in my life.

I live together with Afra the Cat and Leyla the GoD.. the DoG I meant..

I can get to just about all of Antwerp city with my bike. I live in Wilrijk, a quiet neighborhood with lots of parks for dogs and people and many pet- friendly areas I can visit.
