About Laura
Bonjour & Hello! My name is Laura and I live just outside Brussels. I've always loved pets and caring for them. I have owned a dog since I was a small child, as well as a rabbit and hamster. My current dog is an Old English Sheepdog named Daisy - she's my best friend and we go on all our adventures together. If for some reason I can't bring Daisy on holiday, I only leave her with trusted people who I know will love her like I do. That's part of the reason why I've signed up for Pawshake - I'll be living in Brussels for the next year on a leave from work and I will have the time and energy to care for your pets like I care for Daisy (long walks, lots of cuddles, and good attention). I especially love being around dogs and cats and the energy they bring to life - it would be my privilege to care for your pet while you go away with the peace of mind knowing that your best friend is in good hands!
I have looked after friends' and family's dogs, cats and hamsters while they went on holiday, and am comfortable having to follow medication routines if that's what your pet requires. I have experience fostering rescue dogs as well. I have two children under the age of 4, so your pets need to be friendly with kids.
I often take Daisy to the Sonian Forest on longer walks and can bring your dog along if they enjoy longer walks as well.
*Given that I have a dog in the home, I can only take vaccinated pets into my home.

Je suis absolument ravie d’avoir rencontré Laura & family pour mon Corgi d’un an et demi ! Laura est très affectueuse, empathique, soucieuse du bien être de son hôte à 4 pattes, ses enfants sont des amours et savent comment traiter les animaux avec grande gentillesse. Ils ont une chienne, Daisy, qui malgré sa taille, est l’animal le plus doux que l’on puisse rêver comme compagnon de jeux pour son toutou. J’étais à l’étranger et presque chaque jour je recevais des nouvelles avec photos, ce qui me rassurait beaucoup car c’était la première fois que mon chien était séparé de nous. Tout s’est très bien passé et en confiance. Je n’hésiterai pas à faire appel de nouveau à Laura en cas de besoin !! 🤗🤗
Spotty had such a lovely time at Laura's with her 2 other dogs and her children. Just after 1 night you could already see that he grew attached to Laura and it was so easy to communicate with her, plan the drop off and the pick up, even at the very last moment. Thank you again!!!
