Hello! My name is Alina, I am a creative and passionate individual living in Brussels for almost two years now. I enjoy reading, crocheting, creating mixed-media art, and travelling. Taking long walks and spending time in nature is also a major part of everyday life.

In terms of pet sitting, I have had 14 years of experience with my own precious beagle, who has taught me plenty on patience, loyalty, and judgement. Childhood also saw fishes and hamsters in the house:) I have dabbled in pet sitting cats and dogs throughout my young adult life, most recently fostering a street dog from Serbia for a month. I have also spent time volunteering at animal shelters. 

My motivation for joining Pawshake is not only my love for animals, but also as a learning experience for myself and your pet. I feel that there is much to learn from pets, so much meaning to life that can be understood through their perspective. They are the most loyal, non-judgemental creatures. For me, it is a pleasure to spend time and learn with them, with the added ability to help out an owner in making sure their pet's needs are always met! I know first-hand that having a pet is not easy, and trusting your furry friend to someone else is no small ask, but I am here to provide to you not only a promise of love and care to your pet, but also a clear communication about your expectations and my delivery.
