Romy and Wesley

Hi everyone! I'm Wes, 30-something living in Holsbeek. Together with my girlfriend, Romy, we love to take care of animals. We can speak Dutch, English and French. And we are chef cooks from occupation.

We are the owners/cat-parents of Rosie, our tiny cute cat for almost 6 years.
We always been surrounded by pets since my childhood: dogs, cats and hamsters, bunnies and turtoises as well. We do love all pets equally, we have no preferences whatsoever. 

Several years ago, Wes volunteered with animals abroad. In Thailand, hep took care of the rescued primates in a Wildlife Rescue Center: he'd led a small team to prepare the nurritions and foodbowls for the primates and also refreshed their drinkingwater more than once a day. In Sri Lanka he worked for a small Sea Turtle Hatpchery project where they are concerned with the welfare of the endangered animals. Two unforgetable experiences whatsoever.

We came in contact with Pawshaks through a former roommate. He did take care of a cat during the Covid-lockdowns, and sometimes we took over when he wasn't available. We really loved taking care of the cat: overall we feel pleased if we can make an animal happy. Threat an animal good with friendship, get friendship back from them: It can be simple as that!

Our services would be: come every day at your place for 30-60 minutes and take care for your pet.
