About Marine
- About me (perso) : I grew up with all kinds of animals (🐱🐶🐹🐓🐑, etc.), so I have a lot of affection for them & some experience. I'm a dynamic, proactive and nature lover. I've always found the affection given by the pets more authentic & so selfless. For me there's nothing better than a big hug with a fluffy one at the end of the day.
- Languages: FR (native), EN (bilingual) & NL (at ease in most conversations).
- About me (professionally) I'm working as a medical specialist for the biopharmaceutical company 'Roche Diagnostics', meaning that I spent some of my working hours on the road visiting Belgian specialists. The rest of the time I'm working from home, therefore some company is always welcome 🤗 I have 2 degrees : one in general nursing and the second one is a master in biomedical sciences.
- My experience (shortly) : I'm used to dealing with more challenging dogs (trust issues, intense walks, protecting resources, etc.), so I'm confident in my ability to handle these situations. I have experience mostly with dogs (my own and other dogs I used to pet-sit) but also with cats from my childhood and small farm animals, as mentioned previously. I currently don't have pets anymore, because my partner is not willing to have one for now (but it's only a matter of time 😁). So for me, a nice 'in between' option is to be a pet-sitter, to spread my affection and get some precious time with furry ones.
- Practically speaking: I often work from home in Auderghem (Chant d'Oiseau/Vogelzang neighborhood), so I can easily go for a dog walk during my breaks, look after your furry friend for a day, and possibly look after them for longer if needed. In case your animal is calm & confortable in a car, we could escape the city for the forest/countryside in Namur/Namen, where my parents live.
- My personnality : I'm naturally gentle and caring, so I take great care of our furry friends and try to be very attentive to their well-being. I believe they deserve it just as much as we do. I'm flexible, so please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have a suggestion for me. I'm very open-minded and already excited about the idea of meeting your pets (no discrimination between small and big dogs btw).
