About Dieter & Mayu
Hello fellow dog/pet lovers,
We are Mayu & Dieter. We like to spend our time with dogs, whether they are from our friends, family or from strangers. We do our best to take care of them and make them feel at home when they are with us💛We are loving caretakers that know how to be strict when necessary.
We don't have any pet of our own as our current living situation does not allow us to take make the long term commitment to get our own dog(s). 🐕
However we hope to be able to change this to take care of our dreams dogs (a Cocker Spaniel and a Berner Senner) in the future. 🐶
Both of us have experience with dog sitting, since it is an activity we already do for a couple of years together and both of us had dogs when growing up.🐕🐕🦺🐾 In our apartment, we have a spacious living room area and outdoor terrace for our fluffy friend to rest and enjoy the sun (> 100 m2). We are available in the morning and evening to go for a walk for around 20-40 mins. We normally go to the Egmont park or Parc de Bruxelles for the walk. We are also photo lovers, don't be surprised to receive some amazing photos taken by the semi professional camera📸
🏡Before taking care of a doggy for a longer period of time, we like to meet up first. If both we, the dog and the owners are happy, will we consider taking care of the dog for a longer time period.
Important to know is that we have the following house rules for our fluffy guest:
🛋️ Doggy are not allowed on the sofa
🐶 Doggy will be disciplined when showing unacceptable behavior (stealing food, pulling when walking on a leach, etc...)
We want to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all our fluffy guests, so we only accept vaccinated pets. If your pet ever needs oral medication during their stay, you can count on us to provide the care they need.
Given our location in the city center, we only accept pets that are sterilized or castrated. However, we may consider exceptions based on their age and behavior. Please feel free to discuss any specific situations with us.

Dieter and Mayu took care of our dog, Peanut, for 4 days and everything was absolutely perfect! They were so nice and caring, flexible and keen to help. They were also very professional and reliable, and we felt that Peanut was in very good hands. Communication was great and we received daily updates and wonderful photos. We warmly recommend them and will certainly contact them again in the future!
Dieter & Mayu were absolutely amazing with Snowbear. They were incredibly thoughtful in their updates and sent the most amazing pictures and videos of their adventures. Snowbear absolutely loves them and she doesn’t want to leave when I go pick her up, which is sad for me but gives me peace of mind when she is with them! I am grateful they take such great care and love on my baby!
