Hi, I'm Sarah!

I've had many dogs throughout my life, and absolutely love them.

I've adopted three different senior dogs over the years, including one very difficult case, Arturo, who had been living caged in for eight years, his entire life. It took a lot of patience and time, but he warmed up and it was so moving to watch him build trust and feel joy and be relaxed for the first time. 

I’ve also been a dogsitter for many friends and family members- small, big, old and young dogs - I love them all.

In spring this year I worked two months on an animal sanctuary in Ireland where I cared for 5 dogs, feeding them, going for walks and just hanging out. 

My most recent dog Leica, the German shepherd you see on the pictures, died in December and while i’m not ready to adopt a new one just yet, I would love to help you take care of yours.

As I'm a freelance writer working from home, your dog will be with me all the time, and I can easily go for walks or hang out in parks: I live in walking distance of Bois de la Cambre as well as a dedicated dog park. My work is very flexible, so I can take them out as often and as long as needed. 

As I live in an apartment that is not gigantic, I only take one dog at a time (unless it's 2 small dogs from the same owner). There is a small closed common backyard that can be used if needed.
