Hello! Thanks so much for showing an interest in us and taking the time to visit our profile. 

Who we are

We are Mercedes and Jose, a couple living in Ixelles, Brussels, in a cosy loft flat with a little garden near Avenue Louise. 

When we were teenagers, we were both typical kids who loved to rescue animals in the street. I’ve had dogs, cats and any other animal my parents let me keep at home. Jose has also had dogs since he was little, and of course, now we don't live alone. 

Our journey

Eight years ago, we moved to Brussels with our two little angels, Lili, a mini schnauzer, and Walter, an incredibly sweet and good dachshund (female and male). A year ago, we sadly lost our sweet angel Lili. It's been a really tough year for us so now for Walter more than ever, we're over the moon to welcome furry friends into our home to spend some hours, days or weeks. 

What you can expect

Our dogs friends are never left home alone, we always make sure that one of us is with them. 

We're both really experienced in helping dogs to become more confident in their relationships with other dogs, as well as helping dogs with anxiety or fear. 

Our goal is all the dogs staying with us to feel completely safe and happy, as if they are in a second home. 

We have a limiting space acepting limited number of dogs at a time, as we like to give them all the love and attention they need.

Communication

We know very well how tough is to leave your best friend, so we'll keep you updated with daily photos and videos on how things are going. Whether it's for a day, a week, or longer, we're here to give you the freedom to enjoy some well-deserved time off while your dog gets care and love. 

Our daily routine

Here's a bit about our daily routine: Every day, we go for a lovely long walk in the beautiful Forêt de Soigne. At midday, we go for a lovely stroll near our house. If the weather is nice, we also go for a walk in the evening to the Bois de la Cambre or the Abbaye.
