Hello!

My name is Rylan, and I am an American student living in Brussels to pursue a master's degree in urban studies at the VUB. I grew up with both dogs and cats, and have always loved the companionship of animals. I have experience working as a pet sitter in the United States, and will happily provide a link to my US Rover profile that includes reviews of my work. I am fully vaccinated against COVID-19, and will wear a mask indoors when interacting with you.

I happily watch dogs and cats of any size, age, or breed, and am open to watching unconventional pets. I offer walks as well as drop-in visits of a minimum of 30 minutes, during which I will ensure your pet has clean water and food or medicine if need be. I particularly love taking dogs to dog parks during walks, so let me know if there's one near you and your pup is comfortable interacting with other dogs. Your pet is my first priority when I am with them, whatever this might look like with them, from administering medicine to cuddles to walks to play. I know that every animal has a unique personality, so I appreciate hearing from you about how to best care for your pet. I also love to practice tricks or commands, so let me know if you're working on something!

I also offer petsitting in your home. During a typical housesitting booking, I would stay overnight in your home, spend 1-2 hours in the morning feeding and socializing your pet, stop by around lunch time for another hour to socialize or let your pet outside, and be back at your home by the early evening. As I am a student, I can't stay with your pet for the full day, but I can easily accommodate 2-3 meals and walks a day and plenty of attention. If need be, I happily include watching plants, taking in mail, and small additional tasks in my service.

I send pictures of your pet and a description of our time together included in every booking :-) For petsitting, I'll send you updates at least twice a day.

Due to my class schedule, my availability is irregular, but I am typically available:

- Monday morning and afternoon

- Tuesday all day

- Wednesday afternoon and evening

- Friday morning and afternoon

- Saturday and Sunday

Je parle aussi le français :-) Mon français n'est pas parfait, mais c'est assez bien de marcher ensemble si vous preferez le français. Je ne suis pas super familiare avec les mots français de commande pour les animaux domestiques, mais j'ai hâte d'apprendre.
