Hello,
We are a couple living in Neerijse.
From a very young age we are used to having pets and taking care of them.
I'm Paula, and as a veterinarian assistant, I learned a lot about animal welfare.
I took a professional course in agricultural production, where I learned how to take care of farm animals.
I did 2 internships in which I dealt closely with debilitated animals and cooperated in their rehabilitation, always under the supervision of the veterinarian.
Due to one of my internships, I also have experience with wild animals.
I volunteered in a kennel, where I dealt closely with animals rescued from precarious situations, abandoned, badly treated. I have experience in animal rescue. I love animals and I have great pleasure in taking care of them.
Pedro has always lived with dogs and cats and loves to be in their company.
Living without animals is not an option for Pedro.
We are both self-taught, so we always try to be up to date with regard to animal welfare.
We love hiking and we adapt our walks according to the dogs we have (very active, not very active; young, old).
We live near a forest where there is a space of about 1ha fully fenced, where we can unleash the dogs and they can play freely and safely.
We also have a fully fenced yard where dogs have access during the day.
Our dog Nala, came from a kennel in Portugal and she is the best friend we can have.
She is very playful and patient.
When she notices that a dog or person doesn't feel comfortable around her, she waits patiently for the person or dog to come to her to play. Despite being a big dog, Nala is super nice and friendly.
We adopted Dino with 3 months old so he is perfect adapted to dogs. Sometimes he wants to play with them, but most of the time he prefers acting like a boss and be on the top of something looking to the dogs.
We have 2 children and the eldest loves animals. He always wants to play with them, help feed them, loves to walk with them and run freely with them.
The small one is following her brother and is perfectly adapted to dogs and she is crazy about cats.
We only accept 1 dog at a time, but if you have 2 medium or small size dogs we would be happy to receive and take care of them.
Please make sure that your dog is friendly with cats or your cat is used to dogs. We don't accept any dog or cat that can't live with one of our pets together.
During our walks, your dog can get dirty (mud, saliva from other dogs, etc), so we guarantee that when you come to pick up your dog, he/she will be clean and smelling good. Which means that we bathe your pet if he/she gets dirty while in our care. We also brush the pets' fur daily in order to keep them clean and free from dirt.
We can give medication (we have a lot of tricks to give pills), injections and provide first aid.
For us, your dog is our dog, so we’ll take care of him/her like family.
You can expect a lot of photos and videos while your dog is here and a daily updates about how is your pet.
Feel free to contact us.
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. 7 days before the booking, 50% refund afterward.

Okay, this family is simply amazing. They are so lovely from the get-go. They rescue all kinds of animals and you can tell immediately they care deeply about treating animals well.
When our dog stayed with them he a blast, every photo/video we received was him having the time of his life either with their lovely dog Nala, their cute cat Dino, or their absolutely adorable children. When we went to pick him up he literately ran back into their house to play more after greeting us... T_T
They are so good with communication, keeping us updated with our dog's shenanigans throughout his stay. Even though our dog doesn't normally sleep with us, they offered to let him sleep with them in case he gets nervous for his first night (he wasn't, he was having way too much fun to be nervous). It just shows you how much they care. When we picked our dog up he ate something from the floor, and Paula, being the experienced vet assistant that she is, didn't hesitate to take it out gently from his mouth. It was absolutely incredible. They are just the friendliest people with a very nice home environment, not to mention there's lots and lots of greenery around where they live. Highly recommend.
Paula and Pedro, and the kids, and especially dog Nala and cat Dino are fantastic!!! Our dog Toby had the best time playing with all of them. They have a nice garden and the dogs can go outside anytime. Toby was really loved, we could tell from the fotos and videos we received. It set us at ease during our holidays that Toby also had fun. I think he is really missing Nala now 😊 but I’m sure they will see each other soon! Thanks for the great care ❤️
