Hi,

My name is Neil and I am an American expat that recently moved to Belgium and I live with my wife, two dogs and two cats in Loonbeek (Huldenberg) in between Leuven and Brussels. I love animals, especially dogs, cats and horses! I have been taking care of them In some shape or form

since I was a kid. Every time I am out and see a dog being walked down the street I have to resist the temptation to go say hi to him or her! I have done dog sitting in the past and enjoy getting to know the personality of my new fur friend. To give a little background on my experiences with animals you should know that I grew

up on a small hobby farm in the Midwest (MN) and I was responsible for doing the morning and the evening chores. My family had dogs, cats, horses, chickens and free roaming ducks that had to be fed and watered.

I understand the need and want for a trusted pet sitter that will give you the peace of mind to be able to enjoy your vacation/holiday. If you hire me to take care of your pet(s) I will treat them like my own and you won't have to worry about them. I offer the following when you hire me:

- I am currently available mornings, afternoons, evenings and the occasional overnights.

- feed your pet(s)

- give meds accordingly (oral or injections)

- If I am also house sitting for you while you are gone I can bring the mail in or put out the garbage just let me know. I can do the little stuff to make it look inhabited.

- If I stay at your home I will be there for several hours in the evening plus spending the night and a few hours in the morning. It is doubtful I will be there 24/7 but that said depending on the needs of your pet I will not be gone for more than 8-9 hours and will not leave them alone overnight unless it is a cat.

- When performing a home visit to let your dog out to relieve themselves we will perhaps go for a short walk if they are up for it and if you are comfortable with me taking them for said walk. My home visits will last anywhere from 30-45 minutes.

- If I am watching your cat I will clean litter box(es) daily or every other day depending on the usuage.

- If you have something other than a dog or a cat let me know. I can take care of larger animals, horses, cows etc or something smaller like a snake or something...just don't expect me to hold them!

Because we are leasing a home I am not currently available to board your fur friend. I am currently searching for a job so I do have the free time to pop in anytime on short notice in case you have an emergency or are stuck at work and need someone to take care of Fido. I have a car available to me so I can be over anytime. Drop me a line and see if we can find a solution and maybe a new friend for your fur buddy!
