My name is Odette and I, along with my husband and daughter and 5 doggies all immigrated to Belgium in 2019. I have always had a deep passion for any and all animals ever since I was born. I have been involved in animal welfare in South Africa for many years and really only want the best possible life for each and every animal.
I strongly believe that every animal you take on should become part of your family and treated as such - where no one gets left behind or forgotten.
I have always been that type of person who would go to events and make friends with the animals first. In a nutshell, I believe all animals deserve to be loved and well looked after and only deserve the best!
Therefore, your babies will be in the best of hands!
My 5 dogs are Enzo, an Italian Greyhound; Gizmo and Oreo - the Chihuahua brothers and my oldest babies; Skye - a Chinese Crested and Tinkerbell - A little rescue that is Yorkie cross Chihuahua.
I am also a mom of two little girls. I am a Graphic Designer and I work half day from home. I am 38 years old. I do have my own car, so traveling is not a problem within a 20km radius.
I speak Afrikaans and English and I understand Dutch very well. I can also speak a little Dutch. Unfortunately, I cannot speak French, but there is always Google Translate to help out!
I am excited to meet all of the new faces and take care of them when their mommy and/or daddy can't.

Odette and Bernard are just outstanding! A super caring couple, animal lovers (and humans too, by the way!) They themselves have Two young daughters, 5 small dogs and Ouessant sheep to look after. First time I left Nina, not yet 6 months old (she'll be on 15 May) and although clean at night still a little "excited" during the day. Not only did Odette and Bernard accept the challenge of a "no longer a baby but not yet an adult" dog but positively contributed to its education and kept me up-to-date with her games: daily videos (several a day), pictures, comments: a dream! I can only highly recommend them and, most of all, thank them for their positiveness and kindness.
Thanks a lot!
